Liz Decker

Liz Decker, violin, studied music at MacPhail with Mary West as a child, then at the University of Minnesota with Roland and Almita Vamos. She has performed with many professional orchestras including concertmaster of the West Palm Beach Symphony,Opera, and Florida Ballet. She played section first violin in the Naples Symphony, Miami Chamber Orchestra, and Charleston Symphony/Chamber Orchestras. In the Twin Cities she performs with the Minnesota Opera Orchestra and Minnesota Sinfonia. Liz is also active as a musician in the Twin Cities’ theater community, playing for shows at the Guthrie, The Children’s Theater Company, and musical theater at the Ordway while also teaching as an adjunct instructor at Bethel University.
